Personal Exhibition

Cuneo, Piedmont. Italy, 2008

With the solo exhibition “Autumn–Winter”, inaugurated in Cuneo in 2008, in Sala Meinero, Corso Dante 41, Indra Krecere introduced herself to the Italian public with her first show in the country, presenting a pictorial language that merges realism with mystical overtones. In her earlier works, the artist had already refined a path that explored still lifes, portraits, and mythological and historical themes, genres that allowed her to delve into the symbolic dimension hidden within everyday forms and ancient narratives.
The Cuneo exhibition offered an immersion into a suspended imaginary world, where meticulous realist detail coexisted with enigmatic atmospheres. It was an Italian debut that revealed a deliberate and introspective form of painting—distant from contemporary trends yet capable of speaking forcefully through its quiet intensity.
